Merchandiser
About the job:
What you’ll be doing:
- The person we are looking for is a person that has proven experience in the quotation, negotiation, and order follow-up. You are a team player, can drive towards the common goal, and should preferably have extensive knowledge in the product category they focus on, as well as textiles, material, and components production. Communication skills will also be a key element to build relationships globally across the Production and Buying Office. Most importantly though, we are looking for someone who is passionate about contributing to the team!
- Creating PO’s for supplier.
- Carrying out weekly progressing reports with the in-house factory and raw material supplier.
- Arranging and liaising with courier companies and shipping companies to negotiate prices and arrange shipments nationally and internationally.
- Collaborating with vendors to negotiate prices, quantities, and timelines and monitor the sourcing & delivery schedule. Setting standards for quality of merchandise and ensuring timely onboarding of vendors.
- Maintaining critical paths to ensure orders are meeting their deadlines.
- Raising label orders (care labels, brand labels, price labeling).
- Report Management: ensuring data is correct, building reports for merchandising.
- Building partnerships with suppliers and identifying new partners ensuring we maintain the same high-quality product, competitively negotiated prices, and robust terms of the contract.
Requirements:
- A degree in fashion design and merchandising is highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising position, with strong knowledge of yarn and fabric.
- Good communication and presentation skills Buyer-oriented with good negotiation skills.
- Enjoys challenges, positive mindset, and is able to work under pressure Independent and able to take initiative.
- Fluent in oral & written English Proficient in MS Excel applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Negotiation skills to renew contracts and make changes to existing vendor contracts.
- Excellent Buyer/ designer management skills, juggle several vendors to source raw material.

Production Manager

Production manager’s responsibility to:

- A production manager also known as an operations manager makes sure production runs smoothly.
- The job involves planning, coordinating and controllin the manufacturing processes.
- As a production manager you need to make sure that the costs, quality and number of goods are correct.
- The job specifics depen on the nature of production this could be jobbing production, mass production, process production, or batch production.
- A large part of the job involves dealing with people and using management techniques in a team.
- Production managers are also involved with product design and purchasing.

Fashion Intern
Resposibilities:
- Responsible for entire design process from color, concept, print direction, and silhouette to product execution.
- Creation of new sample.
- Thorough market research to identify current trends, competitive analysis and benchmarking.
- Ensure the product is consistent with market trends and brand identity.
- Collaborate with sample room and local vendors to create sample presentations.
- Work cross-functionally to approve quality and fit of all product.
- Follow up on fabric and trim orders.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience ( Freshers can also apply).
- Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
- Prior design experience within girls / Kidswear apparel.
- Strong presentation skills in both communication and building digital assets.
- Should be good with Digital Media handlings.
- Organized and efficient with exceptional time management.
- Proficient in using Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Excel for Flats and Tech Packs.
